The WABAG location in Brno was founded in 1994 with the aim of serving the Czech market, especially with regard to the preparation of service water for power stations, steam generators and heating plants. WABAG Brno completed these assignments with great success until 2000, when it extended its activities to include drinking water, wastewater and sludge treatment in the municipal sector. An initial contract for the installation of a drinking water plant in western Bohemia, received at the end of 2000, was rapidly followed by numerous additional orders, which included a filtration plant in Mariánské Láznì. In the meantime, WABAG Brno can point to around 100 reference plants both in the Czech Republic and other countries.
