July : 03-06, 2025 – WABAG recently took part in two important missions in South Africa, underlining our commitment to strengthening international partnerships and advancing water security in the region:

July 3-6, 2025: Official State Visit of AUSTRIA and Business Forum in Pretoria

Dr. J. Lahnsteiner represented WABAG as a participant in the business delegation accompanying Austrian Federal President H.E. Alexander Van der Bellen on his official visit to South Africa from July 3–6, 2025.

As part of this, WABAG attended the South Africa–Austria Business Forum in Pretoria on July 4, where Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and South African President H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa delivered keynotes. This high-level platform provided excellent opportunities to engage with local stakeholders and discuss future collaboration. WABAG reaffirmed its strong commitment to supporting South Africa’s water security and sustainable development
