Advanced Raw Water Treatment Plant to Support Supercritical Thermal Power Station in Suratgarh
WABAG has constructed a new Raw Water Treatment Plant to ensure a reliable industrial water supply for the operations of RVUNL (Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd)’s 2 x 660 MW supercritical thermal power station in Suratgarh, Rajasthan. The plant is designed for an inlet capacity of 4,623 m³/h and employs a multi-stage treatment process to purify river water for industrial use.

- Technologies: The raw water treatment purifies river water employing:
- 1 Cascade Aerator,
- 2 Clariflocculator,
- 11 Rapid Gravity Sand Filter (RGSF),
- 1 Sludge Thickener & 2 Centrifugse
- Clarifier for Demineralisation plant
