WABAG was awarded the contract to refurbish the Dragon wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at PEPSI Co. International’s beverage facility in Bucharest. The project involved a complete upgrade from CAS to Moving Bed Biology, replacing equipment, and refurbishing civil structures. The WWTP, using WABAG FLUOPUR® technology, has a capacity of 2,550 m³/day, with modernization completed at the end of 2017. WABAG also managed plant operations until September 2020.
