WABAG has designed and executed the Rembang MED thermal desalination plant using Multi Effect Distillation with Thermal Vapour Compression (MED-TVC) technology. Located in Jawa Tengah, Indonesia, this plant ensures a continuous and reliable supply of desalinated water for the nearby 630 MWe power plant. The dual-unit facility, with a total capacity of 6,000 m³/day, effectively supports the power plant’s operational needs while adhering to stringent product quality standards.
