Building Plants for high-purity Industrial Water to ensure Power Supply in Libya

WABAG has built four industrial water treatment plants for power stations in Tobruk, Tripoli and Derna for the General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL). For the 565 MW power plant Tripolis West a demineralization plant for the production of boiler feed water was installed. This water must be free of all impurities, salts and acids in order to prevent damage to the boilers and to ensure continuous operation and power supply.
