WABAG has built a water treatment plant for the Fertilizer Project in Port Harcourt, comprising Decarbonators, Filtration, and Mixed Bed Exchangers for the production of potable and demineralized water. The Demineralization plant consists of two streams and contributes substantially to the water requirements of the fertilizer plant. Borewell water serves as the raw water source.
