Biological treatment plant for dairy effluents.

WABAG has developed a wastewater treatment plant for “Tunisie Lait” dairy in Sidi Bou Ali, 25 km from Sousse. The WWTP employs low-load activated sludge treatment, achieving the desired water quality. The biological sludge is thickened and dewatered prior to landfill disposal. The plant began operations in 2002.
