National recognition for WABAG’s impactful contribution to Viksit Bharat 2047 through NAPS and NATS initiatives

We are delighted to share that WABAG has been honoured with the CSR TIMES AWARD 2025 (GOLD) under the category Industry Partnership Model in Skill Development.

The award was presented by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways, at a prestigious ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions to India’s development goals. The award was received on behalf of WABAG by Mr. Venkatesan K, Sr. GM & Head – Facilities, Administration & CSR, and Mr. Hariharan Selvaraj, Sr. Manager – Learning & Development.

This award marks a significant milestone as WABAG’s first national recognition for a CSR project in Skill Development, conferred by one of India’s leading CSR forums. This accolade acknowledges WABAG’s impactful role in Viksit Bharat 2047 through our initiatives under NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) and NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme).
