The Effluent Treatment Plant plays a critical role in safely treating aqueous effluents generated across multiple process units within the refinery and petrochemical complex.
Multistage Effluent Treatment Engineered for Complex Oily Streams
The Effluent Treatment Plant is designed to receive and segregate effluents from seven complex sources – including spent caustic, oily streams and dissolved organic loads – and applies tailor-made physical, chemical and biological processes to meet stringent discharge norms. Raw water, cogen plant and sanitary wastewater streams are treated through independent pathways within the Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure maximum safety and compliance.
