Flexible MBBR-FLUOPUR® technology for Dairy in France.

Armor Protéines is a French company and global player in the production of specialty ingredients for the dairy industry. The industrial wastewater treatment plant at the production site in St-Brice-en-Coglès in Brittany is no longer up to date and was replaced by a new plant. For a high treatment capacity with a compact system at the same time, the project consultant has chosen the MBBR-FLUOPUR® system from WABAG. The high-load reactor with a biofilm area of 300,000 m2 handles a peak volume of up to 200 m3/h. In total, the plant is designed for a load of the equivalent of 60,000 PE. The plant was commissioned in 2021.
