Description:
- In December 2009 a Joint Venture led by WABAG Ltd. was awarded the contract for the design, construction and operational management of India‘s largest seawater RO desalination plant. The plant converts sea water into fresh potable water which is supplied to one million people from the southern suburbs of Chennai. After commissioning WABAG will also take care of O&M for a period of seven years.
