Mr. Rajiv Mittal holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) and is a Fellow of the International Water Association and Corporate Member of the Indian Desalination Association. He has experience over 4 decades, and has dedicated himself to the water industry with a special focus on sustainability. He has advocated sustainable use of water; leveraging alternative sources of water such as seawater & used water; efficient wastewater treatment, water recovery and reclamation. He has also been very vocal in promoting advanced technologies for water treatment solutions for municipalities and industries at an affordable price. Mr. Rajiv Mittal started his career with Dorr Oliver and later worked with John Brown Engineering, U.K. He then joined WABAG, UK and was deputed to India to set up a Strategic Business Unit in Water towards the end of 1996.

Under his visionary leadership, WABAG: • Evolved into a true Indian multinational, ranked among the Top 3 Global Water Players by GWI for benefiting over 88.8 million people globally; • Emerged as the preferred partner for achieving water sustainability, leveraging alternative water sources: Desalination & Water Reuse to boost water supply; • Pioneered the concept of wastewater treatment with power neutral model and re-demonstrated at the 140 MLD sewage treatment plant under Namami Gange at Varanasi; • Expanded its global footprint with a presence across 4 continents and projects in over 25 countries; • Reinforced its technological excellence: R&D centres in India and Europe and over 125 IP Rights; • Masterminded the Management Buyout of WABAG India in 2005; • Orchestrated historical Reverse Acquisition of erstwhile parent WABAG Group from Siemens in 2007; • Successful listing on the BSE and NSE in 2010.

Mr. Milin Mehta, is a Chartered Accountant and is Managing Partner of KC Mehta & Co LLP, Chartered Accountants (Baroda, Mumbai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad), for more than 3 decades.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a Law Graduate and has obtained a Master’s Degree in Commerce. After becoming Chartered Accountant at a very young age of 21 years, he involved himself in the professional practice and also various social and professional activities.

With bright academic record, he has secured rank in the merit list in the examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also secured Gold Medal in the M. Com. Examination of the M.S. University of Baroda.

In the professional practice he is mainly engaged in the area of providing consultancy to various corporate and non-corporate bodies in the areas of strategy, taxation (domestic and international) and Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, etc. He has been strategic advisor to several industrial groups.

Mr. Mehta has been part of various committees set up by the Finance Ministry, CBDT and ICAI including Committee for framing “Tax Accounting Standards” which are renamed as “Income-tax Computation and Disclosure Standards”. He was also a member of the Committee appointed by the Finance Minister under the CBDT for considering the MAT Impact on introduction of IndAS and also to notify further ICDS due to introduction of IndAS. He has held the position of Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India covering Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa. He has contributed a large number of papers in various seminars and conferences organized by professional organizations all throughout the country, tax departments and has also contributed articles in reputed Professional Journals and Magazines

He has also co-authored a book on “Minimum Alternate Tax” published by the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society.He is also active in social service and is Past President of the Baroda Lions Club Education Trust, which manages Baroda High Schools in the city of Baroda. He was a Government Nominated member of the Senate and Elected member of Syndicate of the prestigious M. S. University of Baroda. He is also trustee / member of Governing Board of some very reputed NGOs.

Mr. Mehta works in several reputed listed, unlisted and private companies as independent / professional / non-executive Director.

Mrs. Vijaya Sampath, a Corporate lawyer over 40 years of experience is an Independent Director on the Board of listed Companies in water treatment, IT, manufacturing, branded luggage, pharmaceuticals and auto component sectors. She is also the Ombudsperson for the Bharti Airtel group with oversight of the code of conduct and was earlier its group general counsel and company secretary. She has been working as in-house counsel for large Indian conglomerates and multinational companies and has also been a corporate law partner in renowned national law firms, J Sagar Associates and a senior partner with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. Vijaya holds a graduate degree in English literature and law and is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and the Strategic Alliances Program conducted by the Wharton Business School. Vijaya was the chairperson of the corporate law committee in FICCI. She has written articles lectured/ been a speaker at various forums on governance, ethics, law and practice.

Mr. Ranjit Singh has over 30 years of experience in Industrial Management in Indian, International and Multicultural business environment. His core strengths include Corporate Growth and Turnaround Strategy and its implementation. He worked as Managing Director, Kalpataru Power Transmission (an Infrastructure Company) and Global COO & Board member of Polyplex Corporation Limited (4th Largest Polyester Film manufacturer in World). As a transformational leader he was significantly responsible for globalization and profitable growth of the companies that he led. At present he is also a member of Board of Governors of IIM Jammu). He is based in Delhi and is deeply involved in the Start-up ecosystem and Strategy advisory space. He is also on the Board of other reputed Companies.

Mr. Amit Goela has a distinguished profile in the Indian Financial and Securities market with over 30 years of experience. He has worked with several leading corporate houses on strategy planning and investments. He is currently part of the management team of Rare Enterprises. Mr. Goela has been an advisor for various companies in the areas of macro-economics, equity research, both public and private markets, corporate restructuring, investments and arrangements including mergers and acquisitions and advisory for stakeholder value creation. He is currently on the board of various companies in India. He is an MBA in finance from the University of North Florida and gains international experience.

S Varadarajan joined the Company in January 1997 as Senior Manager – Finance cum Company Secretary and held various key positions including Chief Financial Officer prior to his appointment as Whole Time Director & Chief Growth Officer of the Company. During the last 25 years of his service in the Company, he played active role in demerger of the Company prior to its acquisition by VA Tech Wabag GmbH, Austria in the year 2000. He was part of the management team that carried out management buyout in the year 2005. He played important role in formation of 4 Strategic Business Units (SBU’s) in the Company in the year 2007 and took additional charge as SBU Head for O&M business of the Company for a few years. He also played a key role in the reverse acquisition of the erstwhile parent Company in Austria in the year 2007 and was instrumental in successful listing of the Company in the Indian bourses in the year 2010. He is one of the Promoters of the Company and holds 21,85,762 equity shares of the Company as on date.

Varadarajan is a Graduate in Commerce and Post Graduate in Public Administration. He is a Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (CMA) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He was honoured with CFO-100 Award for three years consecutively for his achievements by CFO India magazine.
