WABAG is a lump-sum turnkey contractor and offers customised water and wastewater treatment solutions across the engineering, procurement and construction phases.

Given our presence in low cost engineering bases in India and Turkey, coupled with global sourcing practices, we have emerged as a highly competitive EPC player in the global water space.

Our EPC solutions with a dedicated team and detailed commissioning schedule ensure timely completion of the plant and meet client requirements. After the plant is constructed, the facility undergoes a complete test-run before it is handed over to the client for operation.

Plants like Dambulla WTP in Sri Lanka, AMAS WWTP in Bahrain, and Al Ghubra Desalination Plant in Oman are some of the marquee projects executed under the EPC model.

Operation & Maintenance

WABAG undertakes the operational management of existing water and wastewater plants in the form of services agreements. Our rich history and expertise across segments helps optimise technical processes to improve the operational efficiency of the plant.

Our model is characterised by training and integration of existing skilled personnel with adherence to highest standards of safety and standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance.

Our gamut of services include plant refurbishment and upgradation, thus helping to reduce the total cost of ownership.

WABAG assumes responsibility both on and off the site with a NOC room (Network Operations Control) for remote monitoring and offering solutions if and when required.

DBO – Design-Build-Operate

WABAG is your lifecycle partner for water and wastewater projects. We undertake complete engineering, planning, construction and operational management. For existing plants as well, we apply our expertise and optimise the capital as well as operating expenditure for refurbishment and upgrade, subsequently assuming operational management responsibility.

Our mission to be a complete solutions provider acts as the ground for a long-term relationship with key clients. We believe in owning responsibility and accountability for the trust reposed in us by our clients. It is with this mindset that we propose long term design-build-operate contracts for optimising project lifecycle cost as well as enhancing the performance and life of the project. WABAG with its technological expertise and process knowledge helps optimise cost as well as efficiency in design-build-operate contracts. With an in house engineering team, global standards of procurement, quality construction support, dedicated operations and maintenance functions following the highest operating procedures coupled with global safety standards, WABAG is equipped to be a reliable partner for design-build-operate contracts.

Our major DBO projects include the desalination plant with seven years of O&M in Nemmeli, India, and the WWTP in Adana, Turkey, which comprises a state-of-the-art sludge management system as well.

BOOT – Build-Own-Operate-Transfer

In line with its vision to create sustainable water infrastructure and be a proactive partner to its clients, WABAG provides complete solutions for financing, construction and operation of water and wastewater projects.

WABAG believes in being an asset-light company with its commitment to BOOT projects by means of a minor stake. We help in obtaining competitive financing from available avenues and assume overall responsibility for timely execution and operational management of the project.
